Susanne Heitz Mayers

Susanne Heitz was born in Germany but spent much of her life in the Caribbean. She was formally trained at the Hochschule for Fine Art and Design in Hannover, Germany. Susanne has illustrated several books for children, and her paintings can be found in galleries and art shows, private homes and public institutions throughout the world. Her love of nature and vibrant colors are key elements in her work. Susanne finds a lush playground for her imagination in the Caribbean. She lives with her husband and a couple of cats between Dominica, Barbados and Germany.
